In the U.S., Sequoia Capital U.S. Growth Fund VIII, L.P. raised $998.5m, with 120 limited partners invested in the fund.
In China, the firm closed $1.7995 billion Sequoia Capital China Growth Fund V, L.P. and $549.5m for Sequoia Capital China Venture Fund VII, L.P.
Led by Doug Leone, Roelof Botha, Michael Moritz, and other partners, the firm is a venture capital firm mainly focused on the technology industry.
