Owner and operator of the Miami charter boat "The Cutting Edge" and Capt. of the south Florida tournament boat Contender One.  Also formally Capt. of the famous "Get Lit" who has won countless amounts of sailfish tournaments from Palm Beach to Key West and putting up record numbers on tournament days with 30 plus releases in a single day.

In today's podcast, we are joined by James Brown, James Brown is the Captain of the "Jaruco" a 90ft Jarrett Bay build with carbon fiber seats and outriggers with titanium shafts to cut the weight down. James is originally from New Zeeland, he got into it just like most because of their father. New Zeeland had an extensive charter fleet but that was declining slowly. James got an opportunity to go down to Costa Rica to help on a boat for 3 months and right after the 3 months James never went back home he hopped on a boat "Carol Libby" and did a lot of the Fad fishing in Costa Rica.

In today's podcast, we are joined by Carey Chen he is an Artist and Angler fishing and drawing around the world, chances are you have seen his work. He makes a lot of art for tournaments and shirt designs for some boats. Carey doesn't just draw he is also active in the cockpit trying to catch some Marlin. There was a time he would go to 50-60 fishing events every year to make artwork for these tournaments and to fish in them.

In today's podcast, we are joined by the owner of "Puravida" and a couple of the anglers on the team.  The anglers and owner of "Puravida" a 55 Viking haven't been fishing for long but they sure love it, they got into it because they saw the videos of the Los Sueños triple crown and they knew they had to get down there, and now they are going to sell the 55 and receive a 68 Viking that has recently been taken out of its mold. Team "Puravida" is upgrading so they can do more long trips comfortably and stay out they're for longer.

James Cleare joined us after his big win for the sailfish tournament , James used to fish with nick for 15 years, last year they separated Nick moved to the Frontrunner and James went on to run a contender doing charters and the Tournaments.  James Dominated the Tournament all through from start to end.

Hook Harmeling is the one behind Billfish Reports, we talk about how much the reports help a fishing program to choose where they want to go next and to collect data from how after years the fishery has changed, certain locations where they used to catch double-digit billfish and now they catch bigger billfish in single digits.
