The man who put the gag order in place for the Paxton trial is now speaking freely. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick answers critics of the process as well as concerns about political donations he accepted before the trial.
Plus, thousands of Texans have lost Medicaid coverage, most of them children. The cutoffs are primarily for procedural reasons rather than determinations that the people are ineligible. Now whistleblowers are pushing the state to act, or make sure the federal government does it for them, to potentially save lives.
