The Euros provided some surprises and we discussed them all. France & Portugal both dropped out while the Netherlands offered arguably the most dramatic departure against the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, Italy and Belgium passed significant tests while Denmark's dangerous depth again rose to the occasion.   

We also discussed Bale's potential retirement, Brazil's reliance on Neymar, and Peru's odds of making a run through the knockout stages of the Copa America.
