TV Cops are a group of ex-Police officers with over 400 years of experience offering police advice to TV and Film.

We had the pleasure of chatting with director Jordan Hogg, whose work spans some of the UK’s most iconic TV dramas, including Coronation Street, Ackley Bridge, Emmerdale, and Casualty.

In our conversation, Jordan shared valuable insights into the world of soap directing, from working with actors to navigating sensitive storylines like Corrie’s powerful knife crime episode. We also talked about his time on Ackley Bridge, the creative challenges he had to navigate during a particularly hard-hitting scene. Also, we picked his brain for advice for aspiring directors.
