Tonight, we’re heading into Arizona.
Beyond the bright lights and desert sunsets is another side of the Grand Canyon State. Empty highways where something keeps pace with your car. Isolated trails where footsteps follow just out of sight. A night in the desert when the sound of a stampede comes from somewhere in the darkness. A storm rolling into a canyon where the voices of children seem to echo through the rain. And one wrong turn that leads a stranded traveler into a town that should not exist.
These aren’t the Arizona stories you’ll find on a postcard.
They’re stories about the places between destinations.
The roads that disappear into the desert.
The trails where you suddenly realize you’re not alone.
And the moments when you look around and realize…
you have no idea where you are.
Maybe it’s just the isolation.
Maybe the desert plays tricks on the mind.
Or maybe there are places in Arizona where the road can take you somewhere you were never supposed to go.
And sometimes…
all it takes is one wrong turn.
