We talk about the Big Ten bubble and the potential for B1G Weekends in the Spring (2:20). The SEC, ACC, and Big-12 are full steam ahead trying to get a Fall 2020 college football season in (5:45). We went on vacation and got our bikes stolen, but then went full detective-mode miraculously recovered them (11:40). We look at a plot by @ScalpRNoles comparing Offensive Line Yards with Rushing EPA to see the impact of the O-Line on the run game (17:10). Finally, Micah Parsons opted out of his Junior year for Penn State, and we talk about the impact on the defense and team, and discuss how important one player is to a team (31:50). S3E6 - August 26th, 2020

It's now week 4 of the Quarantine Podcast and we're straying a bit from the stats today to cover some more lighthearted news. Namely, James Franklin has been accused of dumbbell theft (1:13), and Franklin fought back with accusations that a mystery man is dominating the community weight room at his condominium complex. This is probably the only time Franklin has asked someone to spend less time in the gym. Also, we talk about the possibility of playing College Football in the Spring (6:08) and what exactly that would look like after Penn State Athletic Director Sandy Barbour hinted at the option if COVID-19 isn't under control by the Fall.

S3E4 - April 10th, 2020

We go through our most recent article on Staturdays.com - follow along as we go through each chart here: https://staturdays.com/2020/03/29/the-best-teams-in-college-football-at-getting-first-downs/. We come to the realization that teams should probably pass more on 2nd down (11:40), be more aggressive on 1st and 2nd downs, that LSU practically averaged a 1st down... on 1st down (22:28), and that Washington State probably passes too much (20:00). We also find out that Mike Leach is the new head coach of Mississippi State (that was hard to spell), which then forces us to realize that Ball Coach Joe Moorehead is the OC at Oregon now (that's a scary thought).

S3E3 - April 1st, 2020

In our second episode of the quarantine, we're discussing a new article from FootballOutsiders that discusses what the optimal amount of passing the ball is, and breaks down the efficiencies of passing, rushing, and play-action passes.

We are back for our 3rd season and kicking off the offseason with new episodes every week around different college football stats and analytics topics, including explaining some common college football stats, doing a college football mythbusters, and more. S2E20 - Week 15 - It's the final game of the 2019 college football season. We recap the two College Football Playoff semifinal games, including a staggering blowout win by LSU over Oklahoma, and a down-to-the-wire instant classic between Clemson and Ohio State.
