Stay Awhile, and Listen

We’re joined once again by Smalps, as we break down our experience at BlizzCon from touring Blizzard HQ and meeting members of the Diablo community, to the surprising lack of D2R news and the unexpected reveal of Diablo 5.

We also dig into what Blizzard showed for Diablo 5, its heavy inspiration from Diablo 2, what we learned about the future of D2R, and why we still think there may be more happening behind the scenes than we’ve seen so far.

Also, if it wasn't obvious, I managed to pick up a cold at BlizzCon, and so I was sick at the time of this recording on 9/17. Apologies for any coughs that may have made it through editing.

In Episode 12 (S2E1), we look back at Season 1 before turning our attention to what’s next for Diablo II: Resurrected. We break down Blizzard’s recent D2R player survey, share the features we’d most like to see, and discuss our newly commissioned Stay Awhile, and Listen artwork.

Then we look ahead to BlizzCon — separating our dream announcements from what we realistically think Blizzard may have planned for D2R.

Please Note: We recorded this on Feb 3rd, before the ladder reset announcement.

BreakYoBaals, Crudesash, Tyreal Archea, and special guest Smalps discuss our new discord server (link below), the upcoming Blizzard Diablo Showcase on Feb. 11th, speculation of what's to come for Diablo 2: Resurrected, and finally - Darkhaven - the ARPG currently in development by some of the original Blizzard North creators of D2.

Sorry for the choppy audio - we ran a test before recording and it was fine. We'll make sure to get this fixed for future episodes.

Special thanks to our Community Supporters: Jonks, Krassel, PlaNATEtary, TruckerDuckyX95, Uniquesash, and vifron!
