Let’s Journey Together and spend a Moment with Father.
I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more encouragement, please visit LindaGoldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here.
I can see clearly now.
I recall my last visit to Colorado Springs, Colorado. The first day I arrived, I had a partially clear view of Pike’s Peak. The rest of the time, it was completely clouded.
I knew for sure that Pike’s Peak was behind the clouds, yet I couldn't see it. Therefore, other than hiking up the mountain personally, I was not able to experience the majesty of the peak as I’d like to.
Clouded Truth
In a similar fashion, many individuals have a clouded view of Truth. They’ve heard about Jesus, and others have shared personal stories with them about Him, yet they themselves have yet to experience His majesty.
Imagine being so close, yet never knowing God in an intimate way.
It's a disappointment not to have the chance to view Pike’s Peak up close and personal, but it won’t ruin my life.
Not having a close and personal relationship with Jesus is a completely different story. Completely. Different.
I enjoy reading the Bible.
Every word of God, in both Testaments, points to the Word—Jesus Christ.
Turmoil in years gone by may have had different challenges, such as locusts devouring all vegetation. Yet, the call to those who saw, to those who “know,” remains true even today.
“Hear this, you elders; give ear, all inhabitants of the land! Has such a thing happened in your days or in the days of your fathers? Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation” (Joel 1:2-3 ESV).
Clarity about Jesus begins with the family as well. We share with our children and they with their children all we have experienced spiritually. Who—we have experienced.
Clear truth.
Imagine the impact when clouds of doubt, fear, and separation are blown away.
Oh, my friend, my heart races with the possibilities. To witness children embracing Truth as fact, not as a good story, how powerful is that? Listening to young lives with a clear vision of exactly who Jesus is.
No matter the clouds that hinder our view, the majesty of Christ will always shine through.
Let this be the day His children help bring clarity to the world.
Let’s journey together.
Precious Lord, how majestic is Your name?
How beautiful is Your creation? All that I see. All that I hear. Every creature. Every mountain, valley, tree, waterway. All the peoples of the earth. Every child.
Every.
Child.
Help me to speak out the truth of Your majesty, O God. Blow away any doubt or fear hindering me from standing steadfast as I shout from the mountains and valleys, How majestic the Lord God All Mighty truly is.
Hallelujah.
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

My grandmother Wiles loved to bake. On Friday mornings, the aroma of fresh-baked bread filled every room of the house. Each time I stepped into the kitchen, her smile was as warm and inviting as the bread. These are great memories.
How do others know you?
Perhaps you're not sure what others think of you.
We read in Proverbs that a person known for love and faithfulness wins favor with God and men. And that we are to bind those two characteristics around our neck, because others see us in how we carry ourselves.
“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Proverbs 3:3-4 NIV
Oh, what a legacy to pass on.
A loving and faithful person is a person of their word.
How are you encouraged to love others?
If you find yourself struggling in this area, ask Father to empower you to love beyond your abilities.
Let’s journey together.
Oh, that I may be found, loving and faithful in Your sight, O God.
Help me to stay on Your path.
Guide me in the way of right living.
Anchor my soul to Your will that I may not depart from it.
You are faithful.
You are caring.
You are loving.
Help me to leave a similar legacy in our wake, O Lord.
To You be all glory and honor.
Hallelujah.
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

There are days when life becomes too much.
Days when my endurance begins to give out.
Days when encouragement doesn’t come forth as easily.
On those days, my attitude could use a bit of enhancing.
Scripture reminds us that it is God who supplies the endurance and encouragement we need, along with the attitude toward others that Christ Jesus had.
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 15:5-6 NIV).
Imagine having the ability to experience one mind and one voice to GOD's glory!
If you are anything like me, you thrive when others come alongside you. The feeling of community is powerful. We are told that one day, we will all be of one accord. What a wondrous day that will be when all God's children rise up with one voice and one mind, united by the mind of Christ Jesus.
There is a rising up happening now. Do you feel it?
As followers of Christ, we all are unified with Him—and in Him.
When you consider a situation and speak to a brother or sister about it, they may say, "I was thinking that very same thing!"
Be aware —we are experiencing one mind and one voice through the Holy Spirit in us, not our own separate minds.
As we become more aware, we will witness the working of His Spirit in us and others. Our attitudes will become more Christ-like, and the overflow of His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control will reach the masses. Glory be on that day!
How’s your attitude today?
Let’s journey together.
Abba Daddy, help me to rise up with my brothers and sisters as one mind and one voice.
I know that now is not the time for fear and worry.
Now is the time to stand confident of who I belong to.
Help me love others as never before.
Open my eyes to see how I can come alongside others.
Create a desire in my heart to care more.
Break down barriers preventing me from forgiving with ease.
Unite the minds of Your children to be in one accord, to Your glory and honor.
Help us journey together, O Lord.
One Voice—One Mind—One God!
Hallelujah!
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

When I read the Psalms this morning, my heart hesitated.
David, a man after God’s own heart, was crying out in desperation. Oh, how he longed for Abba to collect him into His arms and protect him from all harm.
If David, having an intimate relationship with God, had no hesitation in baring his soul, then why do I feel less worthy to do so? Crazy right?
Oh, my brother and sister, the enemy will misuse the concepts of worthiness, righteousness, and perfection to shut us down and distort God’s image of us. To stop us from crying out to our Daddy, who loves us more than breath itself.
Yet, despite the enemy's attempts, when the dew settles and the dawn breaks, we are heard, loud and clear.
There is no place on earth that can muffle the cries of God's children.
Our Lord's faithful love reaches beyond all boundaries.
“Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness, answer me, in your righteousness!” Psalm 143:1 ESV
The Lord’s children reap the everlasting water and are satisfied.
“I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the work of your hands. I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah” Psalm 143:5-6 ESV
Let us stretch out our hands to God and be satisfied in our soul with His Living Water.
In His time, according to His will, all things will be redeemed for those who love Him. Praise His name!
Let’s journey together.
Blessed Lord, how I yearn for Your mercy. Your outstretched arms draw me near, away from fear, anger, doubt, and confusion. Open my heart and fill it with Your Truth, Your patience, Your kindness, and Your Spirit. Help me to trust You more this day. Increase my faith, and let Your Word eliminate any worldly deceptions that have barricaded my mind from Truth. I praise You from the mountains and the valleys. Hallelujah.
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22
May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.

I can't imagine a safer place than snuggling in the love of God.
His love, coupled with the mercy of Christ and the Holy Spirit’s guidance, is eternally priceless.
"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." Jude 1:21 NKJV
Surrounded by God's love...
How about you, my friend?
What happens when you find yourself surrounded by God's love?
Let’s journey together
Precious Lord, I praise You for Your undying love. Your mercy runs deep into me, and I cry out in heartfelt gratitude. O Papa, thank You for the comfort of Your arms. Thank You for Your Word; it penetrates my heartache and gives me peace. Thank You for Your Spirit. O Lord, You are a mighty Comforter keeping in perfect timing with my needs. I am surrounded by the hope of eternity in Christ, and for that, I humbly thank You. In Christ's name. Hallelujah.

Seeking peace today, but you're not quite there?
Current circumstances threaten to disperse the promise of peace. There’s a rumbling in the streets, and brokenness is plentiful.
And while man is fallible, God is not.
God wants us to trust in Him completely, every day, every moment.
This type of trust is a bridge to peace.
For truly, though we don’t always trust in our circumstances or personal abilities, He is always present and trustworthy.
Father loves us even if we don't love ourselves or others.
Abba Daddy wants us to remain steadfast in our minds concerning who He is. This verse is a gentle reminder, my brothers and sisters, that He remains close even when we don't feel Him.
“You (God) will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you” (Isaiah 26:3 NIV).
His perfect peace comes when we turn all things over to Him. His hand is reaching out to you, and I, even now—take it, my friend.
What will you place in Father’s hands today?
Let’s journey together.
Abba, help my wavering mind to remain steadfast on You. Increase my belief.
Anchor my faith in You alone.
Help me to be at peace while chaos abounds.
All I desire is to trust You in everything.
Thank You for loving me when I’m not quite there yet.
Hallelujah.
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

How often do you open your umbrella?
I carry a small just-in-case umbrella in the car. Sam and I love getting on the road for our next adventure. As I’m reminded by my coffee mug this morning, the fun thing is that “Life is my favorite adventure,” and it’s not 100% planned.
Sam and I know where we’re headed and what we’d like to accomplish, yet the weather can be unpredictable. Therefore, we are always prepared with two umbrellas. The collapsed one on the floorboard and the Holy Spirit in the backseat.
Truly, the Holy Spirit is our spiritual umbrella.
"The LORD watches over you—the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night" (Psalm 121:5-6 NIV).
I’ve learned not to leave either umbrella in the corner thinking, "Oh, I'm sure I won't need this today."
I depend on the physical umbrella for shade and as a barrier from the rain.
The Holy Spirit serves to nudge, alert, and protect me throughout the day.
How about you?
Life is an adventure, so let’s not journey unprotected.
We open our spiritual umbrella by recognizing how the Holy Spirit cares for us.
How is the Holy Spirit caring for you and your family?
Let’s journey together.
Holy Spirit, thank you for the blessings and protection covering me today. Help me know where to go, what to do, and when to do it. Guide my every step and shade me from harm. Remind me of who You are in me so that I may walk mindful of Your presence throughout my day. Hallelujah.

Emotions can be sticky.
In fact, emotions can shut us down and hold us back from experiencing God’s next best step for our lives, personally and professionally.
Consider what's holding you back.
It could be…
Perhaps the difficulties you’ve experienced are threatening to reappear.
Though past difficulties are real, they don’t define the reality of your future.
God has truly made a way where there seems to be no way. All we need to do is step out in faith and walk in it, assured of who we follow.
One beautiful thing about adding year upon year is witnessing God’s provision.
He has walked me through times when doubt was my daily companion and fear held me fast. And through it all, I can share a truth no one can deny—God is faithful and true, and He has never failed me.
I’m reminded in Scripture that nothing is impossible for God.
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand” (Psalm 40:2 NIV).
If we truly desire a new life, our first step is to release control of our old life and turn it over to Father.
When we release our way, we can embrace the way of Christ—His heritage, His power, and yes, His suffering. Life is not an easy road, and the path to righteousness is narrow, yet through Christ, the Father promises to lift us onto a firm place to stand, where we are never alone.
Let’s journey together.
Praise You, O LORD, for You are mighty to save.
You are my Strong Tower, my Refuge in darkness.
Let all that I am worship You.
Hallelujah.
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22
May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
