Welcome to my world!! My name is Bryan Lewis. I'm a 32 year old songwriter/singer/rapper/dj/poet/author/ and producer and I LOVE music. Since receiving my first keyboard as a 1 year old, my first drum set at 2, and my first bass guitar at age 5...I've always been attached to music. If I wasn't making a beat with my hands or my mouth I was tearing it up on the drums, the keyboard, or guitar. Drove my parents crazy!!! All through school and church growing up I was singing in the church choir, started rapping when i was 10, playing the drums for the choir, in marching band, show choir in school. I also was a professional dancer, choreographer, and model growing up. By age 19 I was a polished drummer, songwriter, singer, guitarist, beatmaker, audio engineer, rapper, dancer, and performer. On October 11th, 2010, I was in a car accident at age 19 that left me paralyzed from the waist down and left my fingers paralyzed. I lost my voice and the ability to make music. But sometimes God will take you through obstacles to get the best out of you. In July of 2017 I bought an AKAI MPK MINI keyboard and FL Studio 12. I didn't know the first thing to do. But with time and some research I made my first beat even with paralysis in my hands. With a year of practice and hardwork, I've cranked out 13 albums since 2018.I started this podcast to share my stories and motivate people all over. And to show just because you may go through something life changing....doesn't mean you have to let it change your life and control your outcome. IT STARTS WITH YOU!! Will you continue to fight and stay motivated? Or let fear, doubt, and your environment define you?
My prayers are that my story...my testimony...everything you see and hear will reach millions.. young and old...sinners and Christians, people of any religion. This 5 part series is a wake ⏰️ up call to some of yall who think you're bulletproof. Who think life is a game, and that nothing can happen to you because you in the streets or you think your talents alone makes you better than everyone else. I want schools, churches, youth programs, colleges etc...to hear my story because you can be living right...you can be doing everything you're supposed to do...and all it takes is 1...2...3....life altering tragedy...and THIS COULD BE YOU. But...when life hits you...are you going to feel sorry for yourself...or fight back??
