As High School students, many of us have begun to encounter a variety of different relationships, whether they be friendships or romantic relationships. For a lot of us, it can be scary to jump into these relationships. What happens if we begin to feel we are not being treated with respect? Or if we feel unhappy? That is why it is so important to set those boundaries for yourself first, and understand your values and self-worth before you choose to embark on a relationship of any kind with someone else.

Listen to Grace, Florence, Carla, Juliana and Catherine interview the College Counsellors, Rebecca and Tabi, about their advice for maintaining a respectful relationship with ourselves, and how we can prepare ourselves for such relationships to ensure that they are as healthy and happy as they possibly can be.

Although we might not have all of the answers, we hope that this podcast makes you feel a little less alone, as we all try to move forward, despite all of the setbacks.

It’s extremely important during these times to have conversations like these with people, so head outside and have a listen to four Year 12s, being honest with one another about our feelings, and how although difficult, we are trying to take on each new day as it comes.
