A bit sad but it brought back lots of memories
This book is about the kind of life an immigrant family in the 50's experienced in South Africa.A bit sad but it brought back lots of memories, because it mentioned many places known to me.
Great book!
A very well written book and fascinating story of a young man growing up between two countries. Seeing and experiencing the rise and decline of certain areas in Jo'burg brakes your heart but people do survive.
Fun Read
Brings back so many memories of my working days at the Jhb Gen.We spent so many evenings wandering around Hillbrow
