“Hamilton, Ontario’s Delta Days are ready to unveil their latest offering, “Never End” on February 5 streaming on all digital platforms. It’s the third single in the last year from the group who continue to push their sound into new melodic territories.

The track features a pulsating rhythm that explodes with fits and starts that help accentuate the manic feeling of constantly failing relationships. It’s a look at the darker period of a person struggling to find some solace. Songwriter Ethan Paxton explains, “It’s about dealing with all the bullshit that comes up in life, friends lying, friends dying and a sense of always searching for this well-being you can’t find.”

Never End reverberates the similar themes of isolation and social frustration that can be heard on previous releases “Jonny” and “Product of America”. Jonny received positive reviews with Independent Music News praising the track by saying,  “Jonny is all the things you love about indie, implemented to significant effect. Jangly guitars. Secure rhythm foundations. Melodic bass. A crooning, lad-like vocal that’s coupled with an atmospheric, echo-drenched experience that is relentless as it is restrained.”

The track was co-produced by Wayne Petti, Michael Keire and Delta Days at Threshold Studios.

Delta Days formed in 2017 when high school friends got together to jam in a leaky basement on the west end of Hamilton, Ontario.  They’ve been gigging around Ontario ever since sharing the stage with bands such as Cuff The Duke and Basement Revolver.

Steve Deeps  has been a busy man. Over the last 2 years I think he has been working at The Cotton Factory Mule Spinner studio space. Recording artists and putting on shows. all the while he is recording his own music.  Covid may have affected all of us but Steve moves forward.
