Strangewaves Music & Art Festival is returning to the Paris Fairgrounds for the 5th annual weekend of wild and wacky fun. This year’s edition is titled Mother Nature. The maternal, nurturing aspects of Mother Nature are vital to Strangewaves, a festival that celebrates femme-identifying and non-binary artists, as well as believes strongly in the need to acknowledge the origins of the land we inhabit, specifically in a way that directly recognizes the traditional Indigenous territory of the Mississaugas of the New Credit Territory, on which we hold the festival.

Previous artists who have performed at the festival include Sun Ra Arkestra, Jlin, Jessy Lanza, Moor Mother, Lolina, RAMZi, Laraaji, The Urinals, Pharmakon, Jennifer Castle, Chad VanGaalen, and many moore.

Strangewaves welcomes all people who refrain from harmful behaviour while attending an event. Harmful behaviour includes harassment, violence, and violation of consent.

The Paris Fairgrounds have a mixed terrain, making it partially wheelchair accessible. There will be wheelchair accessible washrooms on site.

All tickets include camping.
