Another week, another giant stack of movies... 24 to be exact. Half of today's pickups are boutique titles and this is the second week in a row where I picked up some vinyl titles as well.

There are so many great steelbook releases coming out in the month of July and I can't wait to start ranking them. Let me know what releases you are excited to pick up in the comments.

I have always has a soft spot in my heart for the art of animation ever since I was a child. That love has never gone away and it's the genre of film that can really take any shape and any genre. Today my guest D.J. from Films By Color and I will talk about Fantastic Planet From The Criterion Collection as well as how organizing your collection is just another vessel to show off your personality.

This week I'm adding 14 titles to the collection. 10 of which come from boutique companies and three of the other four are 4K titles. We are going to go over each title and talk about each one.

Being able to reminisce in nostalgia is a priceless feeling that I personally can't get enough of. Watching and collecting physical media is a great way to go back in time and my guest on today's podcast Matt McCarthy also shares those feelings as well. Not only has he been a part of great projects like The Other Guys, Conan, Curb Your Enthusiasm & Brooklyn Nine-Nine just to name a few he also has a large following on Tiktok where is watches a random VHS tape a day to see what buried treasures he can dig up.

We have 15 diferent releases to talk about in this week's NRRU 6 of these releases are in the kung-fu genre and 7 of which are from a boutique label including one of my favorite box sets of the year so far. Should be a fun discussion and I'm also going to record this live with #5. This series has always been a test bed of sorts so let me know what format you prefer more in the comments.
