Season 13, Episode 120 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers first selection in the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday night, Georgia tackle Broderick Jones.

We discuss the decision made by the Steelers to trade up with the New England Patriots to select Jones at 14th overall and how the draft board broke up until that point. We cover the trade details and more.

Alex and I have obviously watched more all-22 tape on Jones since his Thursday night selection, so we give our thoughts on the Steelers newest tackle. We go over his strengths, weaknesses and more. We talk about him being right tackle capable as well. We also talk about some of the things that Steelers general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin said Thursday night after the selection of Jones.

Day-two of the 2023 NFL Draft will get underway Friday night so Alex and I discuss the various directions that the Steelers might go in. We talk about the potential of the Steelers trading out of the 32nd overall selection to start Friday night's action. We go over several potential day-two targets for the Steelers in this episode.

Alex and I briefly recap all the first-round action from Thursday night and go over the surprising things that happened.

The Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms on a new contract with quarterback Lamar Jackson on Thursday, so Alex and I spend a little time discussing that pre-draft news as well.

Season 13, Episode 118 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the annual pre-draft press conference from earlier in the day that included general manager Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin.

We focus in on several main talking points to come out of the Khan/Tomlin press conference and that includes the likelihood of the team trading up in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft and down from the 32nd overall pick, the first selection in the second round.

We go through several different scenarios related to the trading of early round picks and how the main takeaway from Monday morning is that the Steelers really probably want to move out of the 32nd overall selection.

We discuss what weas said Monday morning about defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal, the offseason status of new wide receiver Allen Robinson II and inside linebacker Cole Holcomb when it comes to them both rehabbing from 2022 injuries and subsequent surgeries and much more from the press conference.
