Pastor Ernie continues the "Come & See" series with a look at Matthew 18:1-20.  In this passage, Jesus gives direction on how we should deal with church discipline.  The key statement in this passage is that God desires that none should be lost. In our effort to restore a fallen brother or sister we need to keep this as a priority.  It should not be a punitive response, but rather a response of restoration.

Pastor Ernie continues our "Come & See" series by looking a Matthew 16:13-28. This passage identifies Jesus as the "Messiah".  Jesus' role as the Jewish Messiah was different than what was expected from the Jewish people.  Jesus offers an opportunity for each of us to embrace Him as our Messiah and Saviour, but as the passage indicates, following Jesus requires us to "take up our cross and follow" Him.  Jesus' invitation is for you, will you accept Him?

Peter Ascough, Pastor at the Kleefeld EMC, continues our "Come & See" series by looking at Luke 12:49-53.  This a difficult passage but, in his message, Peter shows us how these verses fit in the greater message of Jesus.  This passage is a call for us as followers of Jesus to surrender all areas of our lives to the Kingdom of God.  We are to model our lives so closely after God and his way of peace that it may actually look offensive to a world that seems intent on conflict and anger.
