This episode has two topics! First STEM fun facts about bumblebees, then some career advice!  Our STEM topic is the bumble bee paradox.  JoCee explains why it’s ridiculous and the science behind why bumble bees fly!  Then we hard pivot ino career advice from Kara around how giving thoughtful feedback can progress your career, or at least help out your teammates.

Do you remember all that drama about Hillary Clinton’s emails in 2016?  If you’re like most of the world, you probably recall something about deleted emails, and maybe think she got caught doing something wrong.  JoCee gets into the not-so-salacious details of the scandal, and uses her background in computer engineering to walk through what actually happened.

Did you know there was an event this April in the U.S. that only happens every 100 years or so here?  Millennials may have a few things going against them, but one thing we do have in our favor is total solar eclipses viewable in the U.S.   Kara went to both and is in the #twiceinalifetime club.   In this episode we give an overview of the science, history, and watching experience of total solar eclipses.
