Inning Intermissions Presents: Senior Parents Edition with Melissa Baxter
Senior Athlete: Jaxson Baxter
Favorite Memory: ALL OF IT! Watching Jaxson become a better athlete, seeing his good sportsmanship, cherishing the friendships he's made, and enjoying his love for baseball and football.
Emotions from a Senior Parent: He's leaving home, growing up, and will soon be on his own. I'm excited to see where his future takes him.
Advice to Young Parents of Athletes:
Be at all the games. They notice.
Take time off work. Call in sick if you need to!
Keep them busy.
Stand with them through it all—the wins and the losses. It’s fun and it goes by fast!
Do what makes you happy.
Make sure you are doing what you want to do.
Don’t settle. If something isn’t right or going well, move on.
(And also, you can always come home!)Join us in celebrating Jaxson and the incredible support from his mom, Melissa. Their journey is a testament to dedication, love, and unwavering support in the world of youth sports!
