Do you ever feel like you've told the story, but maybe not fully? That's how I have been feeling. Brene Brown likes to say being vulnerable is being brave, and that all great leaders are brave. So I guess this podcast will enter the world as the ultimate act of bravery, in hopes you will find strength in yourself if you have been searching for it. I want to be very real with you, the listener, about what the last year of my life has been like. Honestly? It's been a cocktail of extreme highs, mixed with extreme lows, with a dash of salt in the wounds we were still licking.

This show contains a lot of very intimate details about my life, including Jenn's cancer treatments and being released from a high-paying job (while going through that at home).  I don't want you to be mistaken, this is not a show about being a victim. We are not victims. This is an episode about strength, finding your people, and finding courage when we are already living with purpose before life gets as hard as it can get.  I want to thank my great friend, Dustin Johnson, for interviewing me and allowing me to tell you all from my heart what has happened and how we came out on the other side. I also want to thank him for being an amazing friend during dark times.  You can get through dark times, friends. I know. I have myself. You have to keep taking small steps forward daily. Sometimes, it's all you can do. Just keep going through it until you get to the other side.
