God gives us gifts and we give those same gifts to others. These things make room for us and bring us before great men (Proverbs 18:16). Acts chapter 16.

The apostle Paul pours out great affection for the Philippians and shares his heart with them.

Bad things happen in life, but God is still working. He will heal; He will guide, if you let Him. God works in and around the imperfect.

We continue in Acts 15 at the first church counsel in Jerusalem. They revelation of Peter is examined and the eldership makes a decision.

As we continue through the book of Acts, we take a knee to talk about disputing. When should we do it? When shouldn't we? How should we conduct ourselves in disputes? Here some rules of engagement.

Paul and Barnabas wrap up their first missionary journey. It's a tough one, they are persecuted, and violence comes against them. But, they endure with the help of the Comforter.

Paul preaches to Antioch to the Jews first then to the Gentiles. There are many parallels to some of Paul's writing in Romans that we look at as well as some tough topics that we discuss. However, the main focus is sinners coming into right relationship with God and His word being preached.

At this Selah service we take a look at 2 Timothy 3 and what God's word says about those who sow discord or teach falsehood.

Continuing in Acts 13 we embark with Barnabas and Saul on their first missions trip from Antioch to Antioch and back. We also study for a short time the large topic of false prophets.

This week we make it all the way through chapter 12 of the book of Acts. Peter is imprisoned by Agrippa and sent free by an angel. Peter glorifies God in all His goodness while Agrippa seeks glory for himself through his perceived goodness.
