We often talk about revival as if it is a recent movement in the Church, but the concept stretches back to humanity's origins. We were made to live in God's presence. From the Garden of Eden to Moses to Solomon's Temple, God has desired to break into our daily existence and live with us. This passion of the Father, when it becomes our passion, is the heart of revival. What does it take to make one's thought life and home life a place for God's actual presence? It takes sacrifice— a perpetual laying down of one's life to find the true life that is in Jesus.
