Day 313 | Acts 6:1–8:1a

Stephen was an ordinary man filled with extraordinary faith. Chosen to serve, he boldly proclaimed the truth before the Sanhedrin, tracing God’s faithfulness through Israel’s history and revealing how it all pointed to Jesus. When his words enraged the religious leaders, Stephen looked to heaven and saw Jesus standing at God’s right hand. As stones fell, he prayed for his attackers, showing the power of a Spirit-filled life and the courage to stand firm to the very end.
