In this episode I’ll explain how life changed once I became a stepmom, particularly how I lost control and started feeling anxious. I’ll also discuss how to have difficult conversations with partners when you know the topic can be a sensitive one.

Dealing with our own trauma is crucial if we want to have a healthy relationship with our partners and step kids.

It was her birthday party, my mother-in-law is visiting/staying with us, and I’m currently preparing for final exams. Life is feeling pretty chaotic at the moment.
