This week I encourage us to use the Stepping Stones Study Guide (pdf) as a summer devotional. I'm also reminded of how important, and fun, it can be to encourage each other to be evangelistic. We all have people in our lives we are seeking to reach with the gospel. As you use the steppingstones study guide this summer, also reach out to someone else at Living Hope, share the names of someone you're praying for, and look for opportunities to share Jesus as you pray for each other.
The Bible talks about serving others, especially the poor and needy, as an expression of the heart of God. This week, I share some scriptures, some thoughts, and excitement for our North Carolina Missions team. Be praying for them as they go on mission, and that even at home, we would see our friends and family, neighbors and coworkers as a mission field also.

This week I just wanted to share a passage of scripture that inspires me to love God and the gospel. Psalm 51. If you have a bible passage that you treasure, and inspires you to share your faith, I'd love to hear it. Email me at [email protected]
This week on the podcast we go deeper into how evangelism and the Gospel of Jesus, flows out of the stories of the Old Testament. Dan Steele, Brian Krug and I all share suggestions and encouragement to find Jesus all over the books of the Old Testament, even though Jesus wasn't born yet! It might just be one of the familiar stories of the Old Testaments that is the connection point you can use to point a friend, family member, neighbor, co-worker or classmate to God's mercy, love and unchanging character!
This is Steele on evangelism, part 2! This week we hear from Dan about how his Dad, his work at River Valley Ranch and his regular life have all developed his heart for evangelism. He shares some great stories!
This week I'm excited to have Dan and Hope Steele on the podcast. They are relatively new at LHC, 2 years attending. But they have jumped in and gotten connected quickly. They both have a BIG heart to share the gospel, and this week Hope shares the story of how God has developed her, as an introvert, to love the lost and share Jesus with specific people in her life.
This week we wanted to re-share the 30 second testimonies from Easter. Based on the question, How has Christ changed your life?, they are a great way to boil down your testimony and have it ready to share with a FFNCC when the Lord opens a door. (We even have special guests who discuss what it was like preparing their testimonies for the Easter service.) Finally, we would love for you to prepare your own short answer to the question and either record it on your phone or find me at church and i will help you record it. Send it to me, [email protected], and we will put it on a future podcast!
