The A's take game 3 of the series vs the Giants as Cole Irvin spun a gem vs the Giants. Irvin has been a big surprise for the A's this season. Bob Melvin got tossed in Saturday's game vs the Giants and he said he was mainly sticking up for his catcher. Steve talks about what the A's might be looking for at the Trade Deadline to strengthen their team. They talk about Matt Olson not being in the top 3 of All Star voting at 1b. Olson could get a lot more pub if he is chosen for the HR Derby. And they talk about what Matt, Olson or Chapman, would be more likely to sign an extension to stay with the A's.
