In this episode Delphine interviews Steve Gumaer, founder of Novi, a man who has dedicated his life’s work to helping children in war torn regions around the world. Novi’s work with children is currently focused on the 7.5 million children who are surviving the war in Ukraine and assessments are now being made to decide which of the ethnic States in Myanmar to engage next.
UPDATE: As this episode is being released NOVI’s Ukrainian partners sent an update from the recently liberated city of Kherson where there are 300,000 people, mostly women and children who don't have access to sustainable food, water, or power. Novi has helped to feed about 7,000 families so far. They are also providing blankets and warm clothing to combat the freezing weather.
