Steve Hutto's Podcast

We looked some time ago at the "Cost Of Following Jesus". Now I will begin to look at the "Benefits Of Following Jesus". Even though the cost of following Jesus is very high, the benefits of following Him are infinitely greater. This episode addresses the benefit of "not walking in the darkness" as a result of following Jesus, the Light of the world. I pray you are extremely blessed and encouraged!

I take a brief look at the fact, and the truth that God is good. God's forgiveness and His abundant lovingkindness come from His goodness! And anyone who calls upon Him will experience His goodness, forgiveness, and His abundant lovingkindness. I pray that you are thoroughly encouraged by this short teaching! Blessings to you and yours!

It's interesting how the Apostle Paul refers to presenting our bodies as living and holy sacrifices as, "...our spiritual service of worship. When we yield ourselves to Jesus, even our bodies are considered part of our call to "spiritual worship". I pray you are encouraged by this teaching from Romans 12: 1 - 2). https://bit.ly/2mtZSxN

This is the second part of my teaching entitled "The Cost Of Following Jesus". Every person who prays the sinners prayer must understand the basic cost of following Jesus. Jesus' interaction with the Rich Young Ruler is an illustration of several crucial things I outline in this teaching. May you be informed, challenged, encouraged, and blessed!

Should the cost of following Jesus be understood by those praying the sinner's prayer? In these teachings I will cover not only the cost of following Jesus, but also the inheritance those receive who "sell out" to Him. We must understand that praying the sinner's prayer is only the entrance into a changed life, lived on the earth as a follower of Jesus. There is a vast cost that we must be aware of. Jesus made that clear many times in the Scripture.

In this teaching I look at the truth that you and I are "On A Mission". Jesus said to "Go". Just before He said that, He announced that ALL authority, in heaven and on earth, had been given to Him. The second He said "Go", He invoked His authority upon His church. I pray you will be encouraged and blessed by this teaching. Thanks so much!
