Nick Sandmann and the Covington Catholic students saw their lives change forever in January 2019 when images of them "smirking" at a Native American Vietnam War veteran went viral, even though there was much, much more to the story.

 

 

The mainstream media, celebrities, politicians, and other verified people jumped on this story, accusing the students of racism.
