Imagine finding a church without problems…the perfect church? “If you do find one, don’t join it; you’ll ruin it!”

Or imagine if every member of the church was just like you? What kind of church would it be?

There is no perfect church… certainly, the Church of Corinth wasn’t perfect! No church is!

And today, we, the church of the 21st century, are dealing with a lot of challenges.

Imagine finding a church without problems…the perfect church? “If you do find one don’t join it; you’ll ruin it!”

There is no perfect church… certainly, the Church of Corinth wasn’t perfect! No church is!

The fact that no church is perfect doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive toward maturity and growth.

In 1 Corinthians, we have a letter where Paul is trying to deal with some inconsistency between belief and practice by reminding the believers of their identity as Saints.

We begin to explore the profound dichotomy of our identity as saints and sinners. And 1 Corinthians will shed light on the struggle of who we, as Christians and the reality of our struggle with sin and culture.
