  • Stew and The Nunn, Episode 45 Treasurer Candidate Wendy Stewart
Born into a military family, Wendy Stewart has lived across the globe but chose to settle down in Rock county to live and raise a family.  She has been a resident of Rock county for 20 years and is involved in the community, attending local events like the Dairy Breakfast and the Rock county fair every year.  She is passionate about veterans issues and has helped organize as well as participated in events around the community to benefit veterans.

Last June, Wendy applied to be considered for the position of Rock County Clerk.  Although being highly qualified and placing 2nd on the list of possible candidates, an understandably more qualified candidate with several years of clerk experience was appointed to that position.  This did not deter Wendy and she became even more determined to become involved in her community through public service.  This led to her decision to run for Rock County Treasurer.

Wendy Stewart's educational background is highly suited for the Treasurer's office.  She holds a double major from UW-Madison in mathematics and economics, and is currently attending UW-Whitewater to qualify to sit for the CPA exam.  Her current and previous employment history includes logistics and inventory control analysis, cost analysis, and regulatory compliance in the food industry.

Wendy is the mother of two children, Grace Stewart (20) and Jacob Stewart (14).  Grace is attending UW-Madison and is a former Cullen intern, and Jacob will start high school at Parker in the fall.  She is quite proud of both her children and their accomplishments.  Wendy is a fiscal conservative and applies that to her lifestyle by doing her own car and home repairs as a hobby.

  • Stew and The Nunn, Episode 42 with KilroyRising.com founder, Mr. Scott Kesterson
Scott Kesterson will be on the show to talk about a new Veteran initiative.

These are dangerous and trying times. Our country is being ripped from us by a well organized insurgency who use information and deceit as their primary weapon of war. Now they are in the open, expanding their control with threats, violence and campaigns to suppress freedom of speech, the right to assemble, and constitution itself. This year is much more than an election, it is a war for our future. The time has come for our veterans to assemble to fight the political war to defend the homeland.

Kilroy Rising is Veterans based political action group. It is based on the warrior ethos and four pillars of national sovereignty… one nation, strong borders, American jobs to rekindle America’s greatness.

Scott Kesterson is recognized as one of the leaders in human domain and cultural narrative research and program development. His 15-years of experience ranges from start-ups, to national level marketing campaigns, to advising and program development for senior leaders of Department of State and Department of Defense. His background includes international marketing, documentary film and Emmy Award-winning level production, global consulting for Fortune 500 companies. He is nationally recognized for human domain analysis and systems development, and for the development  of information warfare programs and products for both Department of State and Department of Defense. He has worked globally in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Canada, Czech Republic, France, United Kingdom, South Korea and Vietnam

  • Stew and The Nunn, Episode 41 with PartyofSix.org founder Michael Tumminelli
Mr. Michael Tumminelli is an Army and Air Force Combat Veteran with 13 years of service, along with 9 years as an employee of the Department of the Army. He is one of the founding members of the "Party of Six", and is currently inolved in 1 of 2 major legal cases appealing the "Justifiable Need" statute in the state of New Jersey.

January 2015: The Party of 6 was born out of necessity and frustration. All the active members of this small and eclectic team have gone all the way through the NJ permitting process to obtain a permit to carry, with all being denied. Original member’s cases have all been closed out due to lack of resourcing and support from such groups as NJ2AS, ANJPRC, NRA and others. Lack of will and many attempts to work with all these groups came to quick and painful death as we learned that NJ groups are not willing to work together for the collective good.

March 2016: Brushing our slumber and regrouping, the Party of 6 was revived out of sheer will and a hell a lot of grit. We are no better than those who are reading this now, but as those who have dared wade into the turbulent process of obtaining a Permit to Carry we understand we are at a critical point in our Garden State! We understand our political foes, but more so there is an absolute disconnect between those who claim to represent us, the common folk. They have grown into the Establishment and decide who knows what and when. It is well known that NJ 2A groups are deeply divided and for a reason, well here we are. To some we shall be seen as trouble makers who obviously have no capacity to understand what is happening around us, but let us rebut these notions by our stories and our willingness to once again hold those who wish not hold themselves accountable in this fight.
