Stick to Sports: Tia and Matt find out about the Michigan cancelation while recording, the best pop culture rivalries, more

Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast series, Stick to Sports, will be unlike any podcast you’ve heard on the Ohio State beat. Your hosts, Tia Johnston and Matt Tamanini, will (of course) talk Ohio State football, but the primary focus of the show will be on what’s going on around the periphery, such as weird/funny happenings in college football and the sports world at large, as well as other things that keep us interested in between games, whether that’s pop culture, social media trends— you name it.

In celebration of what was supposed to be Rivalry Week, we begin the show by firing off some of the funniest Michigan jokes we could find on the internet (feel free to tweet us your best one’s anyway) before getting into some of our favorite pop culture rivalries. (Think: Pepsi vs. Coke, Which Chris is the best Chris?, etc.)

Then, quite literally seconds later, we receive word that the Ohio State/Michigan game has, in fact, been canceled. Don’t worry, we kept all of the above (including our reactions to the cancelation) in the audio because, well, we love to hate Michigan whether there’s a game or not.

On the second half of the show, we discuss the Final 4 of our Chip Bracket (Go Bold Chex Mix!), and who we think should move onto the Grande Finale.
