Now that most NHL teams have played roughly ten games, a clearer picture is forming – and that means that handicapping hockey games gets easier. Hosts Shawn Drotar (@sdrotar) and Nate Lundy (@natelundy) look at five games on Tuesday’s slate, starting with the L.A. Kings’ visit to Montreal, where the Canadiens don’t look anything like last season’s Cup finalists… at least, not yet. Next, we fly south to Tampa Bay, where the Lightning host the Hurricanes in a battle of deep, talented Cup contenders. The Penguins aren’t healthy, but they look to be more of a match for the struggling Blackhawks, even though Shawn’s feeling inclined to trust goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury to get right sooner rather than later. In Winnipeg, the Jets host the Blues in a matchup of Central division contenders, and the pair wind up in Las Vegas, where the Golden Knights host their expansion cousins from Seattle, where Nate’s got faith in the Kraken already.
