How hard, how often and when should you foam roll? How does it work and does it even work? All these questions are answered here with the usual dose of mild humour and weed whacking.
Enjoy.
In this episode we discuss how exercise can help mitigate the hormonal effects of chronic stress.
In this episode we wade deep into the weeds of pickle ball and fishing as we have a few laughs. We also discuss the stages of exercise which all people go through, these are:-
We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed making it and as ever thanks so much for listening.
We are back! Sorry we have been gone for a while. In this episode you will find out one of the major (and very valid) reasons for our recent lack of new episodes.

Here's to your good health and continued resillience.
Raw and Unedited

As always this episode is dedicated to your health and I hope you find this information useful and informative, giving you the ability to "Fail forward" towards your goals.
Remember, all ye who listen are Legends.
In this episode, we interview Legendary Listener Mark Lovelace.
We learnt how he went from being out of shape and overweight to finding his Why, embracing the fitness lifestyle, enjoying exercise and sustainably losing 120 pounds, Now at the tender age of 60 he is in the best shape of his life and knows he has the resiliency and self-belief to stay the course despite the inevitable ups and downs of life.
He can be found on Instagram @sustainable_fitness_nutrition.
I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and I am sure you will too.
Check it out and remember to like, comment or even better share it with a friend to help us build our show.
As always thanks for listening and if you have any questions or stories to share then please write in and let us know! [email protected]
Remember, All Ye Who Listen Are Legends (but especially Mark this time)
In this episode, Ed and I talk about the joy of running, the best ways that we can go about minimizing the chances of you getting injured and how to gradually progress your running so that you can run for as long as possible both in terms of distance and the longevity of your running career!
We also do a healthy dose of weed whacking and somehow get onto the subject of why swimmers don't have mullets.
We also find out Ed's true height! 5'4 and 16/15ths (no that's not a typo)
All in all I would say it is a fairly typical episode from us! A bit of fun interspersed with Eds wonderful knowledge.
Cheers and remember all Ye Who Listen Are Legends.
In this episode we discuss the rigours of parenting young children and the physical toll it can take on your body with regards to movements.
Ed reveals to us the beautiful fact that we are designed to do this and provided we take 10-15 minutes a day (even in little 2-3 minute bursts) to address our weak links then we can help mitigate the chances of a back, knee or hip injury. This allows you to be more present and enjoy your parenting far more so than I got to with my back injury!
This episode is dedicated to all of those out there who have young children and are trying their best to be present and engaged parents. It is especially dedicated to those of my close friends who have recently had kids! Best of luck guys and I wish you deep and peaceful sleeps!
As always we would love it if you could share this episode with anyone who you think may benefit and please feel free to interact with the show should you have any questions of your own.
Cheers!

In this episode Ed and I begin by talking about how we are going to establish realistic and sustainable fat loss goals. We close by saying that we need to change our lifestyles to make Fat loss/maintainence a function of our lifestyle rather than the process goal!
I announce my own personal fat loss "challenge" and we talk about the time it will take to achieve sustainable fat loss.
We also discuss a whole host of ways in which you can make incremental changes to your lifestyle (we don't recommend massive over night changes) that can impact your fat retention/loss including sleep and exercise habits.
We hope you enjoy this episode and as always it is dedicated to your health.
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen, we really appreciate it. If you were to do one thing to help us out it would be spread the word, however the is easiest for you, whether that's making an instagram post about our show or just telling a friend, anything you can do to grow our audience and help more people would be hugely appreciated by us.
Cheers!
In this episode we answer Legendary Listener Scottish John's question about his persistent chronic back pain and the Aliens that may be causing it. This is a powerful episode filled with a combination of my 10 years of suffering through and finally fixing my chronic back pain and Mr Ed Stiles almost 30 years of experience fixing people like John and I.
We talk about how pelvic up slips and misalignments can be the root cause of an injury, how you need to RELAX (easier said than done) when you are hurt, and most importantly how under lying mechanical misalignements (pelvic up slips/roatations) can be the hidden cause of all the unexplained pain/symptoms.
We also discuss what kind of castle John lives in and tell him where to put his kettle in the morning!
As always, we really really appreciate you listening to us waffle on and if you have a question of your own please don't be afraid to write in and ask away. If you like what you are hearing then please help the show grow by sharing it with friends and family.
Cheers
