On this episode I chat to Nina Burrows about the idea of consent and what it means to her. Amongst many other topics, we talk about how, in her view, the UK needs to create a more consensual society where sexual violence isn’t as normalised as it is currently. Another highlight is her view on justice and her experience of what this menas to individuals subjected to sexual assault.

Jess talks about the reality of her job and being a woman in modern politics. We chat about what the Conservative government, under Rishi Sunak, is doing to tackle the epidemic of gender based violence, and what she would do if she was in power.
