My good friend Shelly who is very shy comes on the show to talk about what she's seeing in the psychiatric unit as a RN at Northridge hospital. Why is there an increase in 11-16 year old admittances? A jump in suicide attempts and depression, impulsive actions the youth are taking and overall lack of focus because of technology. I open up about my own depression and my wife's severe anxiety and we talk about strategies to overcome these challenges.

We are starting an online support mental health support group called Oasis. This will be a weekly Zoom meeting where we come together to offer love and support for those struggling with anxiety and depression. This will be a safe space where everyones experience and feelings will be honored and acknowledged with no judgment but with love and support. Join our first meeting 4/2/20 at 8:00pm PST
