In todays episode I share my experience with antidepressants so far. I talk about why I decided to try them out, how they have affected me so far, and what are the major categories of antidepressants. Still not quite sure where this journey is taking me but I am going along for the ride. Enjoy!

In todays episode I talk about my rough day that I have been having. Y'know, one of those days where you are really really trying your best and you just can't break through the funk you are in.

• Spend some time with friends
• Distract yourself
• Meditate
• Breathe
• Take a shower
• Go for a run

And yet that dark feeling follows you like a veil clouding your view of the world, making the world feel like some sort of dark desolate place bereft of happiness or joy. You know it won't last forever, but while you are in it it sure feels like it will. I hope that listening to this episode will remind you that you are not alone. I wish I could share the magic pill that changed it all for me, but I still haven't found it (if you have let me know!) This is just another chapter in my life as I continue to try to figure this amazing, beautiful and oh so complicating thing called "life" out. Enjoy!

I have spent a very long time fighting with my emotions. For many of us who struggle with our emotions or mental health our feelings have turned into something that we are in constant battle with. Every time an uncomfortable emotion comes up our first instinct is how can I get rid of this.

Emotions are NOT our enemy, however, they are there to tell us something about the world. As we begin to tune into our emotions we can then learn and understand more of what our body is trying to tell us and access our deeply unique and authentic selves.
