Jesus is better- Therefore persevere in the pilgrimage of the Christian faith. Don't turn aside from following Him.

The benediction communicates the great blessings of salvation that are bound up in Jesus. Therefore, receive God's benediction with faith, looking to Jesus to make you complete in every good work to do His will.

The command to obey and submit grows out of God's own authority and is for your well-being, therefore honor and respect your elders as they carry the burden of responsibility of watching out for your souls.

The Lord Jesus has given elders to the church to nurture and protect you- therefore respect your elders through obedience to their teaching and submission to their authority.
