Stirring Hearts - A Community for Christian Women

SHOW NOTES:

Join me today as we discuss the Put Off's and Put On's of the Christian life. Never does the Lord leave us to do things in our own strength. His mercy and grace always carry us through. So happy to have you here!  🥰

In this episode we will talk about how being broken can be beautiful, but only at the feet of JESUS!
We will unpack a familiar story that takes place right before the crucifixion of Jesus. I pray the Holy Spirit will give you fresh eyes and ears to see and hear something you have never seen or heard in this story.
Sitting at the feet of Jesus, beauty can be displayed!

In this episode, we will unpack one of my all-time favorite verses in the Bible.
Just reading this verse out loud should stir your heart with hope.  💖

This scripture is not only an amazing and powerful verse, it's a prayer that Paul, the Author of this verse prays over the people of Rome, to whom he wrote the book of Romans.

We will see that the most important part is the starting point, our Source. And that Source is God Himself. From there, we will see that Jesus not only brings hope,
but He IS our HOPE!!
Our living and eternal HOPE!!     Hallelujah!!!   🙌🏻 🙌🏻

QUOTES:

• "A source is a supplier of something that we cannot produce on our own."
• "If we are plugged into that Source, this scripture and prayer can impact every single day of our lives."
• "As we put faith and trust in God, the Source of it all, we become empowered by the Holy Spirit to overflow with the Hope we have in and through Jesus. And as that happens, we are filled to overflowing with perfect peace and uncontainable joy that radiates to those around us."

STIRRING SCRIPTURES:
Romans 15:13 (NLT) (TPT)
Romans 11:36 (NLT)
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT)
1 Timothy 1:1 (NASV)
Titus 2:13 (TPT)
Romans 8:24-25 (TPT)

SHOW NOTES:

In this episode, we will look at a very famous story in the Bible.
Jesus walks on the water......Peter walks on the water

Let me warn you about something. If you have been in Church for any length of time, this is a story that is preached on ALOT! It will be a familiar story. And you might think I will be unpacking these verses in a way you have already heard before. But let me tell you, I will, Lord willing, challenge your thoughts on these verses, and on this story.
In a good way 🥰
Buckle up  🤗

"Sometimes, IN MERCY, Jesus does things that allow us to see what's really going on in our own hearts."

• Maybe doubt
• Maybe fear
• Maybe unbelief

Jesus will go to great lengths to help us see our need, and His deep love.
