Happy Summer! Aislinn is back in Michigan, and we chat about (as usual) local brews, hot weather crafts, and our favorite podcast segment.

Hello again and welcome to episode 17, where we dish long and hard about craft beers (who’s surprised), how to calm your kombucha, and a great listener/friend tape yarn project.
Sorry about the audio quality here. We were trying something new, and our GarageBand skills just aren’t up to fixing it. Hopefully you can still hear everything ok, and we’ll be back to our old methods next time.

Happy June all you nature babes! We’re outdoors for a springtime recording. Hope you enjoy the dulcet tones of birds trying to find mates, coffee cups clanking on a glass table (sorry), and the two of us expounding upon our love of Iowa City.
Links coming soon.
Welcome to episode 15! We hope you’re out relaxing in your backyard or maybe a nearby park, listening to the podcast with a hot barbeque and a cold beer closeby, celebrating the long weekend.

Maranda’s storebought bento bag is by Ambitalia, which she bought at Spun in Ann Arbor, MI.
We found many bento bag-making tutorials online, here a few we liked:
For sewing a bento bag:
For knitting a bento bag: here’s the Pom Pom Quarterly pattern that started our conversation, Judoka. It comes in 3 sizes for whatever amount of yarn you happen to have available. I plan to do mine in just 2 colors of Malabrigo organic cotton. We only found one other pattern for knitting a bento bag online, and it’s in German.
Welcome to Summer School with Stitchcraft! This is not the remedial summer school when you failed a class, but a summer school where we learn new perspectives, new ideas, and hopefully grow as creators and thinkers. We’re hoping this is the first in a series of interviews with creative folks of all stripes, who think about their work differently and have something to teach us about the pursuit of creative fulfillment. Our first guest is creative polymath Michelle Johnson (michelletfj on Instagram and creativity-practice.com), who will introduce us to her personal effort to incorporate creativity into her everyday life, and the journey it started for her.
