Ep. 116: Paypal shares rise after Amazon announces that they will be accepting Venmo as a payment option for their people who shop at their store.  Swiss bank UBS post a 24% profit which beat analyst expectations.  General Motors posts a big third-quarter earnings beat but still hold guidance as steady amid the headwinds the company is facing.  JetBlue post quarterly profit as travel demand help covers the cost this comes at a time when Airlines have the passengers but they don't have the planes to meet the demand.  Finally, Adidas terminates its partnership with Ye, formerly known as Kayne West.  

Ep. 115: Apple raises its prices on its TV and Music and streaming services.  This comes at a time when glass supplier Corning is saying that glass for smartphones and tablet sales have slowed down for the quarter.  Apple also announces that it is tightening its rules on Crypto and NFTs in the app store.  There are reports that there is a wave of LNG tankers that are trying to get to Europe to deliver their gas shipments.       

Ep. 114: China's GDP beats with a bounce in the third quarter even though delayed data shows.  Apple reports earnings this Thursday and all eyes are on iPhone 14 sales.  Investors will be able to contribute more to their 401ks along with their Roth IRAs.  The contribution limits for 2023 for 401k plans are $22,500 and IRAs will increase to $6,500.  Inflation is being talked about by CEOs of companies on their earnings calls.  Finally, an NBC news poll says that voters will have "Anger on their minds".   

Ep. 113: Black Adam brings in $67 million in domestic debut, it's the first film opening since July to top $50 million.  Ethereum implemented a major network upgrade that helps with less energy consumption by more than 99%.  The U.S. government is considering a national security review of Elon Musk's bid to buy Twitter for $44 billion dollars.  There is a chance that Joe Biden can kill the deal.  Joe Biden says that 22 million people have signed up for student loan forgiveness while a court temporarily blocks Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness.  

Ep. 112: Caesars and SL Green pitch a plan to build a casino at Time Square.  Snap reported earnings and shares plunge on a disappointing Q3 revenue.  There are reports that Elon wants to lay off 75% of Twitter's workforce but Twitter is saying that they don't have any plans for layoffs.  Amazon hires Hawaiian Air to fly rented Airbus cargo jets in order to replace older freighters.  EU leaders give political backing to gas price cap but details are still being figured out.  Asia has secured their energy needs by using more coal within its own country for energy consumption instead of importing LNG.      

Ep. 111: Knightscope completes acquisition of Case Emergency Systems.  There is a chance that the company could be seeing some major growth soon.  IBM surpasses quarterly projections and they lift their full-year revenue forecast.  Tesla stock slides after Q3 revenue misses which has Wall Street worried.  This also comes at a time when Musk says that Tesla expects to meet inflation reduction act requirements for new tax credits.  Finally. Joe Biden is blaming oil companies again for not ramping up oil production.  This is the second time he has done this since he talked about it back on June 10, 2022.  

Ep. 110: Jeff Bezos becomes the newest CEO to warn about a potential recession in the economy.  Hyundai says Biden's new EV tax credit rules deal will cause a blow to the business.  Netflix reports earnings and Netflix adds more than 2.4 million subscribers while at the same time Netflix is telling Wall Street to focus on revenue and profit and not on subscriber growth.  Finally, Danish police are saying that Nordstream Pipeline was a "powerful explosion" while at the same time Joe Biden is releasing 10-15 million barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve.   

Ep. 109: IKEA teams up with Kodiak Robotics in order to test self-driving trucks in Texas.  Facebook agrees to sell Giphy when UK regulators decided to block the deal.  Peloton extends refunds for the Tread+ for another year while at the same time Chief People Officer Shari Eaton is leaving the company at the same time.  Finally, Microsoft confirms that there will be job cuts as growth is starting to slow thanks to weaker sales of Windows licenses for their PCs.

Ep. 108: Meta is reporting both good news and bad news.  Meta is reporting that the Metaverse is not on track for user growth while at the same time Meta is reporting that ads are targeting iMessage.  California is building a new desalination plant in South Orange County.  Elon Musk tweets that SpaceX will keep funding Ukraine while Ukraine is fighting Russia.  Kanye West agrees to buy a conservative social media platform.  Bank of America reported earnings that the Bank tops estimates.  

Ep. 107: Kroger decides to buy Albertsons for 24.6 billion.  Now Kroger has to convince Washington DC that the deal would be good for the grocery business.  Beyond Meat is cutting 19% of its workforce as sales and stock struggle.  Both Wells Fargo and JP Morgan Chase reported earnings and both companies did really well.  Elon Musk says that SpaceX cannot fund Starlink in Ukraine.  Elon Musk is asking the Pentagon to pay for it.  Finally, Europe is still quietly importing Russian nuclear energy.
