Stocks ended the day in the green on Thursday with the S&P 500 ending at the highest level since early December, as the markets digested Q4 GDP growth, which was higher than expected.
Nifty fell sharply on Jan 25th after short seller Hindenburg raised concerns over the Adani group’s debt position. At close, Nifty was down 1.25% or 226.4 points at 17,891.9.
Nifty seems to have given a fresh breakdown. The 17,761-17,774 band is the immediate support for Nifty below which the downtrend could accelerate. On upmoves, 18,145 could prove to be a resistance.
