Most of the Finfluncers whether on Youtube, Insta or Twitter are educating their user base towards stock market. They are spreading a word about the stock market in the nook and corners of India and educating people about very complex concepts of the stock market.

As you might have observed in our previous stock market podcast, traders used to begin their trading journey with intraday or delivery trading and then gradually move into options trading. But nowadays, even though there's a lot of risk in options trading, new traders are starting their trading journey directly with options trading.

A Digital Blogger started the Big Bull Podcast Series to share successful stories of traders who chartered their own path in this crowded market. Those stories motivated many others to keep up their journey.

In the stock market, there have been a lot of scams. We have also frequently observed errors made by brokers, exchanges, and SEBI that resulted in difficulties for traders. But this time, Investors and traders suffered massive losses due to a scam hatched by its promoter.

In 2019 and 2020, Brightcom Group, a digital marketing business that was listed in 2015, generated money by issuing shares to specific organizations that were either directly or indirectly connected to Brightcom Group. A complaint was filed with SEBI regarding Brightcom and its promoter. 

An inquiry was initiated against an organisation, which as they say, can open up a host of problems. SEBI uncovered a money laundering operation being conducted under the guise of investments. SEBI discovered that the entities given preferential shares had not paid the full amount for these shares. Moreover, the money that Brightcom received in exchange for share issuance was channeled back to the investing entities through a complex series of suspicious transactions.

SEBI began an investigation into 82 entities, but so far, they have only been able to partially investigate 22 of them. The scale of the scam is so substantial that SEBI has yet to complete a full investigation. As a precautionary measure, SEBI issued an order against Brightcom's chairman and managing director, Suresh Kumar Reddy, and CFO Narayan Raju. This order prohibits them from holding directorial or key managerial positions in any listed company until further notice.

It is hoped that this time, SEBI will adopt a more proactive approach to such cases and ensure justice for innocent investors.

India is a big country with over 140 crore people, but there are only 3.75 crore active demat accounts here. To figure out why, Team A Digital Blogger did a study and talked to different kinds of people to understand what they think about the stock market.

This study helped us learn how people feel about the stock market. Some people think it's like gambling because their friends or family lost money in it. Others believe it's only for rich people.

Some people claim that it is comparable to a game in which one person wins and another loses. The survey included people between 18 and 70 or 80 years old. Delhi is India's capital city and a place where important decisions are made. As a wise person once said, what Delhi thinks today, the rest of India might think tomorrow.

During our trip, we visited places like Jama Masjid, Connaught Place, Delhi University, Chandni Chowk, and India Gate. We met people from all walks of life and talked to them about the stock market. Some thought it was like gambling, while others saw it as a regular business. We received many interesting responses.
