• Ford (F) - A way to play the Biden administration's recent bill to create more incentives for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. In a research note Wednesday, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said, "A nationwide charging network is a key missing piece in the puzzle around longer-term [electric vehicle] initiatives within the U.S. for the Detroit 3."
• Costco (COST) - A company and stock which can be used to gauge the health of the US consumer. Costco will report quarterly results on Thursday of next week.
• lululemon athletica (LULU) - A play on a recent bearish call by an analyst. In a note Wednesday, a Jefferies analyst reportedly classified lululemon's last-quarter performance as potentially "peak." The analyst reiterated the equivalent of a sell rating on lululemon shares.
• SoFi Technologies (SOFI) - A way to gain exposure to a potential boom related to student debt being refinanced. A B Of A analyst on Wednesday upgraded SoFi shares related to the student debt refinancing thesis.
• Heartbeam (BEAT) - A penny-stock, low-float, momentum play of the day. Shares were up more than 50% following news the company was granted a patent for an electrocardiogram patch monitor intended for detection of heart attacks and complex cardiac arrhythmias.
