After experiencing the birth of her first child, Hannah Hardy-Jones, CEO of the Kite Program, began to experience mania. Weeks afterwards, she was diagnosed with postpartum bipolar disorder. From a dark place, she began to research what she could do. Along the way, she also shared the learning with others. She found that one of the problems with getting help for mental health was the stigma surrounding it. As a way to help others, she kites, which are “microlearning apps that can be tailored and populated to create content relevant group”.
