In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they recap the highest scoring NFL Week One ever, they preview tonight's matchup with the Chiefs, and they take Justin Herbert and the Chargers to task about their massive disappointment against the Cardinals. They hear a couple of Broncos talking about their Super Bowl expectations and the itch to play again. CU and CSU are both 2-0 for the first time in 32 years. Can they keep up the momentum? How are the coaches approaching the hot start? Mike and Stoke wrap up the first hour covering Stoke's weekend, the Rockies' tragic number, and Nikola Jokic's controversial comments.  

 For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stokely and Schlereth are both out and Aniello Piro sits in with Mike. They chop it up about the Australia game, which makes them wonder if we can get a fair evaluation of the teams across the NFL after week one. Mike asks Aniello, a native New Yorker, about living through and in the shadow of 9/11 with today marking the 25th anniversary of the event. We get Aniello's expectations for the Broncos' Monday night debut and for the whole season on the record. Mike and Aniello cap off today's show previewing the weekend of local college football and listening to the best audio of the morning.  

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, our NFL Insider, James Palmer, joins the show to get the breakdown on all of the Chiefs' question marks, his info around the league about the insiders' take on Bo Nix, and why the NFL played in Australia in the first place. Mike and Stink look back at the events of 9/11 after 25 years and they hear testimonials about the late Barry Melrose from his peers. Mike and Stink think that things are too chummy between the Broncos and the Chiefs as they discuss the dynamic between Sean Payton and Davis Webb. The Morning Crew take on The Drive’s toughest trivia for The Fan’s weekly Trivia Challenge a little early to get Stink involved before he leaves to visit the Raiders facility.  

In the 2nd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they get hyped about the Broncos after a couple of games into the NFL season. They have a couple observations from the Australia game yesterday like Dre Greenlaw's performance and the difference in the Rams and Niners' travel plans. They call out a Raider fan on the text line and they discuss whether they believe in Davis Webb ahead of his debut at Arrowhead. Mike and Mark hear from just about everybody on defense explain how they're planning on filling the Jonathan Cooper-shaped void in the Broncos defense. The Morning Crew wraps up the second hour in 4 Down Territory where the Niners beat up the Rams and Jim Harbaugh said the stupidest thing ever about Justin Herbert.  

In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stink is live from Vegas as Mike and Mark open the show recapping last night's game in Australia. They commemorate 25 years since 9/11. Mike thinks there's too much camaraderie between the Broncos' coordinators and key members of the Chiefs, but Stink educates him why it's actually a good thing. CU and CSU had a couple of big wins to open the season but can they keep up the momentum and avoid letdowns after such emotional victories? Mike and Mark wrap up the first hour hearing one of those motivational coach speeches you hear on TV.  

For the 4th and final hour on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke takes off and leaves Stink with a parting gift. Mike and Mark revel in the criticism and hate that Drake Maye is getting after his terrible performance in the NFL season kickoff. They discuss the restlessness of waiting for the season to start as a player. Stink pays tribute to the dearly departed Barry Melrose. The higher ups demand a conversation about Bo Nix and the guys wonder if Bo has reached the point in his career and development that he doesn't need the preseason anymore. Mike and Mark wrap up today's show with a tribute to the late Barry Melrose before they play the show off with the best audio of the day.  

In the 3rd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stink desperately defends his boo, Drake Maye, against Mike's righteous criticism after his terrible performance last night. They talk out their hatred for the Patriots. They debate whether it was the right call to rest Bo and the starters for the last preseason game after Sam Darnold's injury last night. Did the starters miss out on getting calloused? They book their schedules for some alumni events and look ahead to Monday night against the Chiefs, particularly how Mahomes will look after his ACL injury. The guy end the third hour trying to get Mike to eat some day-old hotdogs in the break room.  

In the 2nd hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they congratulate former Broncos QB Drew Lock for his huge win in the NFL's season kickoff last night. Stink and Stoke jump to Drake Maye's defense for last night's terrible performance. They hear the end of the Stokley-Von beef from so many years ago. The guy pay loving tribute to the late, great Barry Melrose. They break down the importance of stifling the run game against the Chiefs. The Morning Crew wraps up the second hour in 4 Down Territory where Drake Maye is a fraud, a super team may finally get it done, and Stink has to find a new favorite player. 

In the 1st hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they recap last night's comeback win as Mike declares Bo Nix supremacy in the Nix-Maye debate. Mike and Stoke hear the Broncos speak... and they decide they've had enough of the preseason. But, have the Broncos had enough preseason work to be ready for the season? The 6am listeners dump on Stoke for a bit before they hear a story from Drew Brees about Sean Payton's ability to inspire his team. Mike and Stoke take stock for Bo and Drake Maye before they count the captains and lament the inevitable AI takeover.
