Stone Oak Bible

Join us for our second session of Theology Night; Hermeneutics.

Join us as we look at the conversation between Job and Job’s three friends. As Job holds to his innocence, his three friends are convinced that there must be some kind of wickedness in Job that brought on his suffering. Join us as we consider the ideas that Job’s friends propose, and as we see the ultimate truth of the gospel in our suffering.

Join us for our first session of three in out theology Night on Hermeneutics.

Join us as we continue in our series on the book of Job. For anyone who has gone through a time of suffering, or for anyone who has witnessed a loved one walk through a season of suffering, you understand that there is often loneliness and brokenness associated with our moments of suffering. The story of Job points us forward to the fact that both loneliness and brokenness are overcome through the cross. Join us for week two of Job.

Join us as we begin our journey through the book of Job. Job's story is incredible, and generation after generation have been able to look at the story of Job and relate to Job's journey and questions about God. This week we will begin Job's story, and we will lay the foundation for the series to come. Join us!

Join us this week on “Community Sunday” as we kick off the New Year together. We will examine the snapshot of the early church found in Acts 2:42-47 and are encouraged to get back to the basics of our identity as the church of Jesus Christ. Church is not something we “do” but rather is “who we are.” The Christian life is not meant to be done alone, but done TOGETHER as believers in Jesus.

Join us this week as we consider a commandment that is often neglected or ignored; The Sabbath. Sabbath rest is something that we are commanded and created to enjoy, and it is a way that we can see and understand the gospel more in our lives. God has invited us into his rest through Jesus Christ, and you are invited to join us as we talk about Sabbath rest.

Join us in our final week of our Advent series. This week we are going to look at the beautiful and familiar story of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, and we are going talk about why this story matters. Join us as we look at Luke 2:8-20 and discover that our God is a God of His word.

Join us for week three of our Advent series. This week we will look at Zechariah's prophecy. Through this time, we will talk about the perfect plan of God to send Christ into the world to redeem the world, and we will talk about our role to prepare our community for the return of Christ.

Join us as we look at the moment when 500 years of silence was broken by Gabriel's announcement to Mary. "You will have a son." We will look at Mary's response, and we will prepare ourselves to celebrate our Savior's birth and for our Savior's return.
