We review the definitive edition of Age of Empires III released in 2019 and free on Game Pass. A long time ago a few young nerds played AOE III at LAN party. Now more than a decade later we play it again and it is still pretty good. Spoiler alert we recommend it, also we hate the British now.

Having already sunk more than 10 hours into the game, we a lot to say about its gameplay, graphics, dev strategy, and general game feel. We have ventured into this Viking purgatory and received a welcome surprise in this age of big title let downs, from a studio nobody even knew about to boot. I'll spoil this episode a little and say we both think Valheim is a great game even in its early access state and is well worth the $20 we both spent. For this premiere episode of Stoned and Sober Reviews (SNSR) we played the 2020 re-release of Star Wars Episode I: Racer. Both of us were able to finish the game completely and earn 100% of the achievements, so suffice to say we know what were talking about and our review scores can be used as objective fact.
