We review the definitive edition of Age of Empires III released in 2019 and free on Game Pass. A long time ago a few young nerds played AOE III at LAN party. Now more than a decade later we play it again and it is still pretty good. Spoiler alert we recommend it, also we hate the British now.

On this episode we discuss the effects of cancel culture and the constant overreactions on social media. As well as the merits of Gina Carano being fired from the Mandalorian. We get back to Valheim too, since it has hit 4 Million players, rewarding its dev team of very well. Plus a little about wealth management, from two guys who have none.

On this Stoned and Sober Reviews episode George and I (Rick) discuss the game that's blowing up around the world, Valheim which is developed by a small team of five known as Iron Gate Studios. Having already sunk more than 10 hours into the game, we a lot to say about its gameplay, graphics, dev strategy, and general game feel. We have ventured into this Viking purgatory and received a welcome surprise in this age of big title let downs, from a studio nobody even knew about to boot. I'll spoil this episode a little and say we both think Valheim is a great game even in its early access state and is well worth the $20 we both spent. For this premiere episode of Stoned and Sober Reviews (SNSR) we played the 2020 re-release of Star Wars Episode I: Racer. Both of us were able to finish the game completely and earn 100% of the achievements, so suffice to say we know what were talking about and our review scores can be used as objective fact. What I mean is, if this was a court case we would be the ace lawyers and the defendant would be like "Ah shit man these guys are prepared."

With the end of the EA Disney License many developers are clamoring for a Star Wars license but it seems that good ol' Todd Howard has scooped up a deal for the man in the fridge himself, Indiana Jones.  With Bethesda now Microsoft property, it's quite possible that the Indiana Jones game in development will be an Xbox exclusive. Along with Indi we talk other 80s/90s movie stars and franchises; plus the incredibly talented composer John Williams.
