Luke McNeely kicks off a new short series in the book of Daniel this week. He takes us into the original situation facing Daniel and the nation of Judah to help us see how Gods people have always faced trying and even terrible circumstances. Luke shows us how Daniel and his friends maintained a resilient faith in this midst of this trial and then gives us some practical steps to help us do the same. Larry Gilbert continues our series by taking us to 1 Peter 2 and explaining what it means for us to live as followers of Jesus in a culture that is hostile to the gospel. Larry explains how we are called to live honorably, honestly, and humbly as we pursue our commission to make disciples and bear witness to the power of Jesus.

Josh Gatewood continues our series by taking us to Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 3. Josh talks about the discouragement that can come when we pour our lives into others, but see little-to-no change as a result. He shows us how Paul's words give us the perspective we need to faithfully invest our lives into others and leave the results in God's hands. This message concludes with a special time of gratitude and commissioning for those serving in our education system.

Steven Cain continues our series by reminding us of the great commission. Steven points out that believers can live out this commission daily by demonstrating the fruits of the spirit, as Paul describes in Galatians 5. Steven shows us in Galatians 6 while each one of us is to carry his own load, we are called to carry one another's burdens through prayer and encouragement. In this story we learn what it looks like to love our neighbor and run toward the brokenness—just like Jesus did for us.
