As women we put lots of pressure on ourselves to be more…accomplish more…take on more. We often forget to take time for ourselves. What would it be like to be compassionate with yourself and allow yourself to just be, not try harder, not push through it…just be who we are in this moment? Seems simple enough? But it’s not. We really have to consciously show up to care for ourselves just as much as we care for a family member.
Kate Toye asks everyone to look inward and see…Do you find yourself striving to be perfect? Maybe judging ourselves, shaming ourselves, blaming ourselves and ruminating about something we did or said? But, what if it was our really good friend who did or said something? Would you hold them to the same standard? Would you be as harsh? In most cases, the answer would be no.
Kate is a Mama to three wonderful kids, her greatest teachers everyday. She is a personal development junkie and loves to learn. She is a certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, a Mindfulness, Somatic, Wellness coach, workshop facilitator, a, fellow podcaster, and is trained in many modalities.
